Green

* Do you enjoy all the fresh green in the garden? I know i do!! I really feel happy watching all the plants and flowers in our garden. Everywhere you look a new surprise!

* Mail of mine arrived here

* My patchwork chicken is finally finished! Happy with the result, but i think i want to try make another one with fabric i choose this time :) Lots of work, but most of it i really enjoyed.
In the meanwhile the chicken in our garden is still sitting patiently on her (20!!!) eggs...

* My friend gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with a very pretty name: Ella! What a cutie :)

* Time to do some more packing now, almost up in the air!  Have a good weekend!

 

 

 

Cold weekend

What a cold weekend!
If i remember correctly we were sitting outside last year with a mojito! This year the woodfire is on to make us warm cause this icy wind makes you feel so cold.
We enjoyed our weekend anyway, friday bf & i went on a little roadtrip in Zeeland. We visited some thriftstores but found nothing special, luckily there was some other shopping in Sluis too, and yummy pancakes! Oh and we spotted these storks, next to the tree where our car was parked. They were busy making a nest... beautiful!

Saturday we raised our glasses to my friend Iris' birthday and went for a tasty dinner.

And sunday was, once again, all about being lazy :) Although i like those cosy days inside, i do think we've had enough by now. I can't wait to spent more time outside, but it doens't seem to be for anytime soon..

Fingers crossed for some spring feeling soon...

 

 

 

Lucky day

Remember a while ago... i told you bf gave me this pretty Glasjuweel-ring as a present for my birthday? Well, ofcourse i had to snap some pictures of it! And than it was only a small step to enter the contest the designer had this summer: "post your Glasjuweel-jewelry-picture on our website".
The contest finished last week and i got all excited about it till last friday... when i saw my name appearing on her facebook as a winner!!!! YAY!! And now i get to choose another piece of jewelry... Isn't that great?
She has so many colors to combine.. i still don't know which ones to choose but when i do, i'll show it here for sure!

We're not getting a lot of summerdays this year, but when we do we're making a mojito as fast as we can!!!! Cheers ;-)

Lucky clovers

We all need some lucky clovers now and then, right?

Some time ago, i got a little bag with seeds in the thriftstore cause i gave them some stuff i didn't want anymore. And look at them now, such a beautiful green and every day a bit bigger!

One thing though.. my cats seem to like the clovers too!! I spotted them a few times already eating from my plants! I moved the plant out of their reach which hopefully won't affect them...
