My cup of saturday

Yesterday was a good day! It was 'Day of the thriftstores'! The thriftstores keep the special items for days like these and it's always very exciting to explore the shops. The prices are higher though than normally but i did found some nice things, pictures will follow later!
And there was yummy free soup... with a free mug :) I got one of these Boch mugs, a buddy for the one i already had!

In the meanwhile i'm counting the days till our holiday! Egypt... here i (almost) come!!

Comes on sunday once again... it was a busy saturday so no time for internet!
We had great weather all weekend, warm enough to eat on the terrace and spent most of our time outside. Probably the last time this year, one more reason to enjoy every little moment!

This is another mug of the Bavaria-serie that makes me think of the circus! Gotta love Bavaria right?

My cup of saturday comes on sunday this week...
We had such nice weather yesterday, the best first of october i've had in my life so far i think!
My friend cy came with her hubby & kids for Boelie Woelie's first presents-evening... While she was pregnant i looked for a suiting present each month, from a thriftstore, or flea market, or a funny rock-tee from the H&M or even selfmade things... And yesterday she could finally open all these :-) Great evening! Great weather! Great compagny! Yay!

Oh..pssst, this mug is a Bavaria one! And i have them in several color combinations! They make me think of the circus. And found them on a flea market!

This is one of my favourite mugs! I love the colors of the Villeroy and Boch 'Acapulco' serie, and it has cute birds on it... Always a happy moment when i find a piece of this set!!

Although this is a rainy day (yes.. another rainy day!), good vibes are still all around after Lowie's birth on thursday! I went on a visit twice yesterday and ohhhhh he's such a cutie!
Can't wait to see him again tomorrow! Being his godmother is great! :)

No mug filled with hot coffee this saturday but a happy yellow one that i'm using for my pens on my desk. It was a gift from my friend Cy, one from the many vintage xmas-gifts!!
The mug is marked "Waechtersbach", from W-Germany.
I found another one recently, that goes really well with this one even if they're not from the same brand. But that's for another saturday!!

Here's another beautiful Bavaria mug! I've got this one in several colors and i love drinking my morning coffee out of these. I wonder if Bavaria has some sort of catalogue with all their old designs... I've seen so many already and still there are new ones to discover! So a catalogue would be really nice to have :-)

My hand is slowly healing, it's quite a big open wound so it takes a while. Bf helped me with all little things last week, stuff you normally don't think about but now suddenly seem so difficult to do! And now i even have more respect for people who are seriously burned, it must be hell to go through all those pains!!

I hope you're all having a super weekend and ohhh exciting things are about to happen cause my buddy cy will soon give birth to my new little baby-buddy... Boelie Woelie!! YAY!! Go Cy!! ;-)

Here's my weekly cup... on monday though cause i had a crash with my bike on saturday!

Bf & i had to pullover for this crazy cardriver and smacked against the road.

Now i have this ugly wound on my hand and a huge bruise on my thigh....

So far this saturday has been a grey, cloudy & very rainy day... luckily there's always a cup of coffee to cheer us up!
This one is from Bavaria, one of the many nice designs they've made!! I've found some beautiful ones last week on the flea market, wait till you see those!

A new weekly blogpost is born! I've got so many nice mugs i've decided to share them with you every saturday...or at least, i'll try! This is the first one & also my favourite! It was a gift from my friend and we share our apple-love so this was a perfect surprise!

Yay!! My new Paumes book 'Belgium Family Style' arrived!!
Although these books are Japanese, i can dissapear in them for hours, i love all the pictures of peoples houses. I ordered mine here.

Oh and the lovely apple mug... it was one of the x-mass presents i got from my friend Cy :)

I love that i can use old cooking pots on our very modern induction stove! Cause this orange pot stole my heart from the minute i saw it :-)
