Beautiful day

What a beautiful day it was this sunday!

We had friends at our place last night and after a fun but short night bf and i could use some fresh air. So we drove to the sea!

It really felt like spring, we had lunch outside on a sunny terrace, made a long walk along the beach & chilled a bit in the dunes with our faces enjoying the sun! And now i've got red cheeks!

I hope there will be lots more of these sundays, batteries are loaded for a new workingweek.

Oh and saturday i went to the retro fair in one of the local thriftstores and found some nice things, i'll show them soon!

Back in rainy town

We're back from a supertrip to Lisbon, once again i loved it and hihi... i'll be back ;-)
The difference couldn't be bigger, monday afternoon we were enjoying the portugese sun at one of my favourite places in the world, monday evening we had a very bumpy landing cause of stormy weather in Belgium and since then it almost didn't stop raining....

Beautiful stories never last long...

Bf & i had a great time in Taba, isn't it weird how sometimes a week takes forever and if you're having fun it's over before you even realise it!
The weather was very summerish (30°!), sitting outside at 7 in the morning for breakfast... wearing nothing more than shorts, a top and flip flops... do i need to say more?
We spoiled ourselves with lots of yummy food, pancakes for breakfast mmmmmm, and ofcourse the local cat got to taste as well :)

Perfect sunday

Right now it's raining cats & dogs but sunday we finally saw the sun. Only one thing left to do.... go outside & enjoy!! Bf and i made a beautiful walk along the countryside in Bruges. I felt the sun on my face which i love and we enjoyed the beautiful sights. After 2 hours walking we spoiled ourselves with yummy pancakes.... If only all sundays were like this one!

Lisboa, i love you!

My number one on my list of favourite cities! I knew it the first time i was there, and it was proved again last week! Lisbon feels a bit like home & there's always something new that surprises me around every corner or every little alley you walk into...
Some things that make me happy there... There's sun! Lots of sun! Artsy peeps around! Shops, shops & more shops! Historical buildings! Lots of lovely terraces and good places to eat a descent but cheap meal! The beach is around the corner! Same for the mountains! A huge flea market twice a week: heaven for me! Lots of old stuff around everywhere! Yummy cakes & desserts everywhere! Starbucks! Good vibes! Oh did i mention good weather yet??

Bf & i decided we need more of this city so i think there's a new trip coming soon :-)
