About a late christmas gift...

Who needs christmasgifts in december if you can get one in the middle of summer?

It's something Mina & i agree on, it's christmas all year long! Haha :)

So last week i felt a bit in a christmasmood when i received her parcel from the mailman!

A beautiful box with an owl pattern filled with yummy chocolate, the little ones i don't dare to eat yet, they're so beautiful in their lovely papers...

Mina also made me some lavender sachets in her enveloppe design! I really like those, and they smell so good, a bit of the Provence in my closet!

And then there was also the gorgeous scarf boyfriend gave me for my birthday! It's made by Mina, and i absolutely love it! The fabric, the print, the way it's made... a bit of Mina with me everywhere i go :-)

And ofcourse there was a letter, a long letter! I enjoyed reading it with a good cup of tea. And now i better get my christmas parcel ready...

Weekend!

Yay!! It's weekend! Yay!! Bf's coming home tomorrow!
Things started to get a bit lonely here at home!

Here are some of the vintage gifts i got from Cy during our yearly Christmas-gifts-evening!! There's more, lots more even! I can't show them all, but some i'll show in a next post.
Some might think our gifts are silly, but for us they're all little treasures and very fitting to what we love & like :)
Oh btw, i didn't get the cat in a gift, only the cat-pillow hihi

I heard winter will finally arrive this weekend! We might even see some snow...

* Looking forward to our Lisbon-trip, my favourite city!
* I'm quite excited about the autumn gift swap Mina's organising... and i can't wait to see what everyone will make for eachother!

* I have the day off today and i'm about to go have lunch with 2 friends, chat the afternoon away!

Christmas mood!

Okay, maybe it's a bit too early but i really can't help it!! I'm in a christmas mood!!!
I don't know if it's the weather, or maybe this nice lady who's having a Christmas card giveaway.... or is it my german friend , who wants to organise this handmade autumn gift swap? (creative peeps please go check her blog and read about it...maybe some of you want to participate as well?)


I'm already looking forward lots to the yearly vintage-christmasgifts-evening with my friend Cy, for sure one of the highlights last year!! We're both searching for fitting presents all year long and now that THE day is coming closer again i'm getting pretty excited....

Happy mail

Mina & myself, we've got this weird habit of sending eachother xmas-parcels in the middle of the year! It's becoming quite a habit and i think it would be so weird if presents actually arrived on time for once :)
So last week i celebrated a bit of xmas after the postman surprised me with this box, decorated with a cloud and birds... i mmediately knew where that box came from!
What was inside made me so happy, the beautiful gifts and a letter to guide me through them...
Oh how i will enjoy the chocolate, the beautiful music, another cute little doll and this amazing selfmade bag!!! It's so wellmade i'm afraid to use it... and totally my style! Think polkadots & russian dolls!! Yay!
Parcels like these brighten up my day & now it's my turn cause Mina's still waiting for her xmas-gifts... Oh my!

And what an exciting day this is.... we're september the 13th!! Today is THE day my friend Cy is supposed to give birth to Boelie Woelie!! I've been running around like a crazy one since yesterday cause i'm really nervous now in her place!
Auntie Vie is waiting!! Hurry little one :)

I got these in the same week from 2 different friends, aren't they both cuties?
I had to storage my wooden dolls in a box for the time being, bf needed the space for his vinyl player, but slowly the new gained wooden dolls aren taking over again :-)
I feel a 'revenge of the wooden dolls' coming up!!
