I'm wishing you all a wonderful Christmas evening filled with love, friendship & lots of pretty gifts!! Oh and not to forget: yummy food!

Bf & i are off to Budapest tomorrow, i'm really looking forward to that!

And also, it's only a week to go to the big gifts-evening my best friend & myself have planned on new year's eve!! A whole year we've searching for little/ pretty/ funny/ old/ selfmade/.../ gifts! So you can imagine we're both getting pretty excited about it now :)

Oh and for the creative souls: i'm still looking for some people to play 'Craft it forward' with!!

Craft it forward!

Some weeks ago i saw on Claudia's blog she was looking for people to play this Craft it forward with... I'm always in for some creativity so i commented & some days ago i got mail from her!
She made me this lovely christmascard, gifttags, a cool pin, a selfmade enveloppe & one of her christmas stars! Thank you so much Claudia! All this will be used with great pleasure :)

Autumn gift swap

Yay! Mine arrived too :)


After seeing gifts pop up on other blogs i got quite excited to receive mine, and this morning i got lucky!! Eva was the one who got my name to make me something!
She made me beautiful pads, they're so well made, with the tiny leafs on. Almost too nice to use!
She wrapped them up pretty and also added some yummy tea, which will soothen up my sore throat.. Thank you so much Eva, i've been adoring your work on your blog for a while now, it's great to have something handmade from you in my home!
I think we're all thankful for Mina that she put this autumn gift swap together, so a big thank you especially for you my dear friend Mina!! And you can see some more lovely gifts at Lotte's blog, at Lisa's, at Studio Meez, at Claudia's, or check what i made for Barbara!

Woke up this morning feeling terrible.. i feel so sick!
Luckily emptying my mailbox brightened up my day a bit! Claudia sent me her 'craft it forward' parcel! More about this later... Thank you Claudia!!

Back in rainy town

We're back from a supertrip to Lisbon, once again i loved it and hihi... i'll be back ;-)
The difference couldn't be bigger, monday afternoon we were enjoying the portugese sun at one of my favourite places in the world, monday evening we had a very bumpy landing cause of stormy weather in Belgium and since then it almost didn't stop raining....
Hmmm welcome to the real world...

Lisboa time

Bf & i are off to my favourite city for some days.... Lisboa here we come!!
It's our 3th time now and i hope it's going to be just as much fun as the first 2 times!
Can't wait to go to the huge fleamarket again...

Autumn

It took a while but now autumn is all around us here in Belgium, today is one of those typical autumn-days... lots of wind, rain, clouds, sun, rain again and leafs all over the place!
The kind of weather you'd love to spent the day inside next to the woodfire, and with your favourite blanket wrapped around you... Unfortunately i have to go working so the cocooning will have to wait till this evening!
My autumn gift for the swap is ready and packed, so i'll take a walk to the postoffice tomorrow! And i'll keep my fingers crossed in the meanwhile that the receiver will love her surprise!!

Happy weekend!

Weekends are always fun but sometimes good things happen which makes them just that bit more special than other weekends...
On friday i found this lovely envelope in my mailbox from the creative Lisa! It came as a surprise cause i mailed her my adress to receive some handwritten mail but didn't expect it so fast.. you're a quick girl Lisa :)
What a happy discovery! The selfmade envelope was filled with things i love, like Lisa knows me for real... yummy tea, a nice notebook, old stickers, postcards (which i collect so thank you so much Lisa!!) and the details made it perfect. Now it's my turn to write her...

And on saturday more happy news arrived... i won the give away on this blog!

Something i'll use for sure, a book filled with ideas and addresses for vintage stuff! Yay!

Christmas mood!

Okay, maybe it's a bit too early but i really can't help it!! I'm in a christmas mood!!!
I don't know if it's the weather, or maybe this nice lady who's having a Christmas card giveaway.... or is it my german friend , who wants to organise this handmade autumn gift swap? (creative peeps please go check her blog and read about it...maybe some of you want to participate as well?)


I'm already looking forward lots to the yearly vintage-christmasgifts-evening with my friend Cy, for sure one of the highlights last year!! We're both searching for fitting presents all year long and now that THE day is coming closer again i'm getting pretty excited....

Beautiful stories never last long...

Bf & i had a great time in Taba, isn't it weird how sometimes a week takes forever and if you're having fun it's over before you even realise it!
The weather was very summerish (30°!), sitting outside at 7 in the morning for breakfast... wearing nothing more than shorts, a top and flip flops... do i need to say more?
We spoiled ourselves with lots of yummy food, pancakes for breakfast mmmmmm, and ofcourse the local cat got to taste as well :)

We're off to enjoy some sunny times & watch colorful fishes!

My cup of saturday

Yesterday was a good day! It was 'Day of the thriftstores'! The thriftstores keep the special items for days like these and it's always very exciting to explore the shops. The prices are higher though than normally but i did found some nice things, pictures will follow later!
And there was yummy free soup... with a free mug :) I got one of these Boch mugs, a buddy for the one i already had!

In the meanwhile i'm counting the days till our holiday! Egypt... here i (almost) come!!

My cup of saturday

Comes on sunday once again... it was a busy saturday so no time for internet!
We had great weather all weekend, warm enough to eat on the terrace and spent most of our time outside. Probably the last time this year, one more reason to enjoy every little moment!

This is another mug of the Bavaria-serie that makes me think of the circus! Gotta love Bavaria right?
